The image: Controlling the influx of historical sources as visual triggers, the pictorial collage acts as bond with the past as much as it portrays visions of a future, incorporating parts where others are forgotten.
The text: The autonomy and exclusion of language counteracts the easily accessible pictorial element of this collage. Methods of assemblage and collage simultaneously convey original meaning as much as they distort and re-interpret history by building a new architecture of semiotic connections.
The combination: Movement symptomatically connects both elementary aspects of this installation while translating transitory time to meaning as history.
